Apple iFrame

Perhaps Apple is planning their new iFrame video format to really be just that, nothing but h.264 I-frames. If so that would be a great leap forward in the disaster that is high definition video editing. Unfortunately they have also decided to impose some strange resolution restrictions along with the mix. Well it’s good news and bad news today so lets start with the good news. DivX announced that they have finally released a version of their excellent DivX Pro encoding software for Mac users. More HD Video Upscaling

Seems the floodgates are about to open with another major video software player announcing their own standard definition to high definition up-scaling software solution.
