I also have purchased a copy of the Corel Video Studio Pro X4 software, and I agree with the post from Victor above. I have used previous versions of the Corel Video Studio including 11.5 Plus, X2, X3 and now X4 but NONE of them allowed that cut and paste feature. I truly do not understand that, because I post Bible scriptures, and I have to type out each verse letter by letter if I am using the Corel Video software. That takes a ton of time! I noticed that the FREE Windows Live Movie Maker program allows users to cut and paste INSTANTLY, so I cannot understand why Corel does not allow this basic feature. I do like their easy to use Video programs but that is one feature that I hope they allow in the near future. Billy W

It depends what you are copying from in some cases.
Often if you copy from anything other than a text editor the code contains other formatting that the software cannot deal with.
If you have a Word file for example just copy and paste to a text file then into VS.

I am using the Corel VideoStudio Pro X4 trial version. My obstacle is to create titles and subtitles using a copy and paste method instead of typing into the text box on the screen. For example I have a verse of a song in text file and I want to insert the text into the video timeline without typing the whole thing. How can this be achieved? If you remember the old, old version of Ulead Video Studio, the originator, it allows copy and paste of titles. Unfortunately, this old software cannot support Windows 7 anymore.
