I am afraid free may feel comfy for your pocket but given the codecs you are using and how you want to deal with the footage I don&#039;t think there is much joy there for you!
I don&#039;t know if you read it but there is a separate post somewhere here on both H.264 and DivX and frankly speaking the compression is so great that a pro codec is really needed.

Right now is probably a good time to be looking at this because the silly season is upon us and most of the big players are doing discounts for Christmas.

		<description>hi, got a samsung digi camera pl70 that saves video as h.264. i want to playback via usb port on my bluray player (divx files). i need a basic editor to cut / splice scenes then save input h.264 as divx. any suggestions? cheap as possible also (free better).
