Just noticed that the latest version of Roxio’s multimedia suite, Roxio Creator 2010 has just hit the market.
Not really single purpose video editing software as such but I highly recommend it if your editing needs are modest and you want the ability to manipulate various other media files.
It comes with a great audio editing module and very nice image editing tools as well. The beauty of Roxio Creator has always been that although the various media modules are separate, they integrate seamlessly together. Because of that you can tweak a photo from within the video editing program or use all the power of the audio editing module the same way.
Obviously the DVD burning module and DVD authoring features are very, very good!
